Admissions with Ball State University

Ball State University is a public research univeristy that is located in Muncie, Indiana in the United States. It is named one of the best universities in the Midwest and ranked top 20 in the nation for three online graduate programs.

     

On the 8th of November 2017, admissions representatives from Ball State University held a live 30 minutes q&a on Goodwall talking about topics ranging from admissions to student life at the univeristy. the session was joined by 110 students from around the world.

Do you offer scholarships for International students? —Henrique

We will have scholarships available for undergraduate international students starting in the Fall 2018 semester. These scholarships will be awarded depending upon GPA and will offer a discount on the tuition amount. Please stay tuned for more details as the Fall 2018 semester approaches.

Scholarships will only apply towards tuition and fees. There are no full tuition scholarships, but the scholarships we offer can be a great help to discount the tuition and fees amount.

Does the US government offer loans for students for the university fees? If yes, how much is the interest? And in how many years should we return the money back? Can international students benefit from it? —Piturlea

International students are not eligible for student loans from the US government. You are welcome to search for loans through a private lender.

At Ball State, anyone who is currently on a visa or planning to study on a visa is considered an international student.

We don’t have law programs, but we do have criminal justice on both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
