Also, every course has an LBA (Location-based assignment) meaning that students have to engage with the city for academics as well.

The classes are held on the Active Learning Platform for which students need to use their computers and internet. However, the classes are not online in a traditional sense. Since Minerva does not have any lectures, all classes are  discussion-based seminars which facilitates active learning.

Yes! Applying your skills is one of the most important aspects of the Minerva curriculum. We use a flipped classroom approach meaning students come to class prepared with at least basic understanding of the material which allows them to actually engage in discussions and activities to apply their knowledge in the classroom. We also have so-called co-curriculars. These are something like a field trip where students get to apply their skills outside of classroom by visiting and working with local organizations and institutions.
